Times: Classes start at 10am and 11.30am and each run for one hour. There will also be an allocated time for Q&A session afterwards. Each client signs up to a set 4 week course, there are no drop in classes as we like to get to know you all.
Course details: This 4 week course is designed to help owners understand their new canine additions, to teach your puppy how to live in this amazing city in a positive and friendly way. Each week covers commands and behaviour that any new dog needs to understand from sit, down and wait to recall and handling techniques. No puppy is the same and we aim to help you each individually as well as in the class situation. We make use of the Rag Factory building and the busy streets outside, as we believe there is no better place to learn than in real life. The classes are run by Louise Glazebrook and Carly Clarke assists, there will be a maximum of 8- 10 puppies. We have heated facilities with toilets and in an amazing area of London.
Cost: £200 per puppy for the 4 week course.
Course notes will also be supplied at the end of the course via email.
Please note these classes are very different to puppy parties and socialisation parties. They are designed by Louise a dog behaviourist and trainer alongside Carly a trainer and behaviourist and dog walker. With a wealth of experience we hope to make these classes fun, interesting and a great learning place for your puppy. Blind and deaf puppies are welcome. If your puppy is extremely anxious, nervous, aggressive or reactive, please do get in touch to discuss this further, we do of course welcome them but sometimes we need to arrange our room layout differently.
To book, please contact us via the details on the contact page.
Adult Focus and Fun Classes
After completing puppy classes – or taking on an older dog for the first time – this set of classes is designed to add in some additional commands for each dog whilst putting an emphasis on teaching dogs to work alongside each other quietly and happily, all the while building relationships with their owners.
The classes are held in a large event space with a concrete floor. There is a maximum of six dogs at a time with space for one dog who may find it hard to be around people and/or other dogs. Louise also welcomes blind and deaf dogs to these classes. Do get in touch to discuss if your dog has a particular issue or is aggressive in any situation, as the set up of the class will need to be managed.
This is a four-week course covering focus work, mentally stimulating play, teaching a ‘moving wait’ and nurturing relationships between owners and dogs through fun games and some agility style activities.
Venue address – Kennedy & Kennedy, The Old Dairy, 71-73 Powerscroft Rd, Clapton, E5
Investment: £180.00 per dog.
Class dates: July, August, September – 7.30pm – 8.30pm on a Thursday night.
